Done well, a strategic plan will not only set clear goals and objectives, it will also result in a plan that focuses on what’s important to move your business from where it is to where your want it to be.
This is where we are different. We understand that agreeing on the vision and goals for a business is not enough. It is important to also identify the activities required to achieve them.
Our unique Strategy Creation Process has been developed over many years to attain consensus about the future direction of your organisation, as well as creating a strategic plan designed to move your organisation from where is it to where you want it to be.
We work with the key people in your business to identify and agree on its goals and aspirations, as well as how you are going to achieve them.
Our Strategy Creation Framework
People – their knowledge and opinions – are a critical part of the strategy making process. As a result, we use a highly participative approach to building strategy to ensure that the various different views people have of the future are captured and considered.
The diagram shows a representation of the approach that we use to create and implement business strategy. This is a fluid process that has been developed to manage all of the aspects of strategy development. Here, emphasis is placed on idea generation and structuring in a ‘safe’ environment which encourages participation from everyone involved.
We utilise a number of decision support tools, principally causal mapping, to gather, capture and analyse the strategic information gathered through the Strategy Creation process.
Our process can encompass all aspects of strategy making, from initial idea generation through the development of portfolios of strategic options down to the management of individual projects.
Gaining consensus is therefore important both to the strategy development and its subsequent implementation.
